HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIENDS!!! I hope you all rang in the new year with a smile on your face and hope in your heart that this year will be your best ever! My husband and I spent the new year with close friends and I would LOVE to share all the amazing pictures with you all but to tell you the truth I still HATE the way I look and basically ducked out of every single group shot. 😔So the photo to the left is the one and only taken of me on New Years… I hate feeling this way and that is why I continue to push myself to rebound from this pregnancy! 🙌🏽
This past week was like being put into a blender wasn’t it?! It literally felt like 2 weeks combined into one and at one point I didn’t even know what day of the week it was. UGH. Well I am happy that the holidays are “officially over” and today marks a VERY important day for all who made a New Years resolution of “weight loss”. IT’S SHOW TIME & I am truly excited for you all. This Monday can be the day that changes you forever and all you have to do is commit.
You all know I have been very candid along this weight loss journey thus far and I just have to say that I am SO OVER losing weight mentally right now. I need to reset and get my head back in the game. Obviously the NYE “holiday” had me out to dinner and sipping Champagne and you know what?? It felt awesome to unwind and order a RIBEYE steak and eat the bread & butter on the table. Like why can’t I be 150 lbs (my pre-pregnancy weight) and do this all the time?!!? Well… the reality of it is I will be able to do some of that once I have reached my weight loss goal but as for now I NEED to lock it back down! I want to feel comfortable in my own skin again FAR MORE than I want to eat out and drink. I need to keep reminding myself of that. If there is one thing that I have learned thus far… it is that if you are not MENTALLY in the game you will fail EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Ok, ok, so now that I have gotten that off my chest here is my checkin for the past week…. I lost 1 pound. YIPPIE🙄But the reality of it is, I can’t be disappointed because I DIDN’T follow the program religiously this week. I think by now you all can gather this VERY simple concept from reading my blogs. THIS SHIT ONLY WORKS IF YOU DO! On the weeks that I followed the 95 program 7 days a week I lost 4 and 3 lbs consecutively. On the 2 weeks that I half asses it… I lost 2 lbs and then 1 lb. So in summary I am 11 weeks postpartum and have lost a total of 13 lbs thus far.
Do me this one favor friends. If You are REALLY serious about losing weight in 2020, I NEED you to stick to the program with me!!
