Conditioning Finisher
Who loves doing their obligatory 20-30 minutes of cardio at the end of their workouts? Yea, neither do I. Doing the same old steady state cardio on the elliptical or treadmill day in and day out will get you seeing less and less progress quick, and ITS BORING! Anyone who knows me, knows that I love burpees and bear crawls. Doing whole body movements will not only get your heart rate higher, you will burn more calories in a shorter amount of time and can compliment your resistance/strength training. Spice up your cardio sessions by wrapping it up with this little combo.
- Bear Crawl - 1 lap (down and back)
- Burpees - 10
- V-Ups - 10
- Jump Squats - 15
- Alternating Rope Slams - 30 seconds as hard and fast as you can
Do 3-5 rounds of these exercises, and time yourself. Try to improve your time each time you do it.
